At PAWS, we operate a fully staffed veterinary clinic with a full-time veterinarian, dedicated technicians, and on-site surgical, dental, x-ray, and isolation capabilities.
As the demand for assistance and facility dogs continues to increase across the country, so does our responsibility to maintain the highest standards of care. To meet that need responsibly, we cannot operate alone. We need a network of veterinary partners to help us:
- Support active working dogs in their local communities
- Provide overflow and emergency care when needed
- Expand placements into new regions
- Maintain consistent, high-quality medical standards

PAWS Veterinarian Partner Overview
PAWS Veterinarian Partners provide veterinary services at reduced or no cost to active PAWS foster puppy raisers and clients with assistance dogs or facility dogs.
Veterinary support may include:
- Annual wellness exams
- Core vaccinations
- Preventative care
- Non-emergency visits
- Emergency care (based on selected partner level)

Partner Levels of Service
Veterinarian Partners may select one of four levels of commitment:
Transformational Partner
Provides veterinary care at no cost, including:
- Annual exams
- Vaccinations
- Non-emergency care
- Emergency care
Sustaining Partner
Provides veterinary care at no cost, including:
- Annual exams
- Vaccinations
- Non-emergency care
Supporting Partner
Provides veterinary care at no cost, including:
- Annual exams
- Vaccinations
Provides veterinary care at half cost, including:
- Non-emergency care *
- Emergency care *
Foundational Partner
Provides veterinary care at no cost, including:
- Annual exams
- Vaccinations
* The remaining balance is the responsibility of the dog’s guardian or agency.
