Partnership Placements

PAWS partnership placements extends our mission beyond traditional service work, connecting specially trained dogs with organizations that share our commitment to changing lives.

St. Joseph County Veterans Affairs SSD Dog Program

PAWS partners with the St. Joseph County Veterans Affairs Social Support Dog program to bring companionship to our veterans. Together, we’re changing lives—starting with each dog’s journey at PAWS.

Backed by research and built on compassion, this program empowers veterans to rediscover joy, connection, and purpose. Through expert training and emotional support, veterans are finding renewed strength, reuniting with loved ones, and reclaiming their independence.

Jordan Detection K9

Jordan Detection K9 and Paws With A Cause are united in a mission to protect and serve. Through this partnership, dogs that begin their journey at PAWS are trained by Jordan Detection K9 to become Electronic Storage Detection or Ignitable Liquid Detection K9s.

These highly skilled dogs assist law enforcement in locating hidden electronic devices, playing a crucial role in combating child exploitation and human trafficking. Together, we’re transforming lives—providing purpose for the dogs and delivering justice and hope for survivors.
